2004 Ford Taurus Sedan with 200,000km’ s . What it has: AC, leather(?) interior, sunroof, remote lock/unlock and power seats. All features the 2018 Forte with 8000km does not have, so net win overall.
In fact, none of my cars have power seats and only half (2/4) have AC.
It also has a broken windshield, loose rear view and shudders hard under braking. So, standard user experience
there. I feel like I should have a bag of meth or something riding shotgun, just for the full user experience
.

The 24v V6 has some get up and go too as I recall. These were popular rental cars and I have good beta that
they hit 100 mph in the standing mile if floored the entire time. Now actually driving one up to 100 is kinda scary from the floaty
suspension.

Those are replacing the GM W body as the Juggalo car of choice. So home burned ICP disk in the CD player.

You’ve even got the Duratec, so it should feel a bit less 80s/90s than if it had the Vulcan

My Taurus was easily the most comfy car I ever owned.

24V........Fancy!
That is the make or break between decent daily and god awful POS on these. They were quite fun with the 24V, they were utter POS’s otherwise.

What is so bad about a Forte?

Nothing that bad. I mean, I bought one, so it can’t be horrible. I just wish it had AC.

Yeah it’s already done! Just some minor work.
I’m always nervous about the “pick up”. I worry about damage.

Here’s hoping all goes smoothly. I look forward to hearing how things went for you once it’s back in hand. I really need to get mine in there soon as well. Nearly 2 years in the FX and all it’s needed has been oil changes, but at 274k it’s probably time for some fresh bushings.
Where did you pick up your tires? The Proxes on mine are past
done and I dread what replacing them is going to cost. (265/50/20)

I got them from the US. Tire rack, totally worth it

Thanks, I’ll keep them in mind.
I really
need to start doing my homework. I haven’t bought new tires in forever. The Proxes that are on it have treated me well, but I have no idea how they stack up against whatever is out there.
